Akron police said a man is in serious condition and underwent surgery after being stabbed Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the Tap House on East Waterloo Road just after 4 a.m. Sunday, where a man, 29, was found in the parking lot with a stab wound to the abdomen.
The man was transported to Summa Akron City Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Police said the man is listed in serious condition.
Police said the attacker fled in an unknown direction. He was described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-8 tall with black, short curly hair.
