The couple pushed her back out of the room and then locked the door as she promised to return with her gun.
CANTON . A southwest Canton woman is accused of forced her way into a couple’s room at the Moon Mist Motel early Sunday morning in an unsuccessfully to rob them, Stark County Jail records show.
The targets were able to push her out of the room and lock the door.
Stark County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Braxton N. Harris, 24, of Sixth Street SW, at the motel at 4415 Lincoln St. E at 9:15 a.m. Sunday.
Stark County court records show she demanded that they give her “whatever property that they possessed.”
According to the jail records, after the couple locked the door, she threatened to retrieve her gun from her car. But the jail records did not mention whether deputies seized a weapon.
She was released from jail hours after her arrest after she posted $50,000 bond. She remained free on bond Tuesday, pending a Canton Municipal Court hearing.
