Canton man arrested after gunfire

Stark County Jail records show two people were inside a township home when a man fired several shots into it early Monday morning.

 man accused of shooting at a neighboring home was arrested early Monday morning on several felony charges.

Stark County Jail records show Jordan T. Harris, 25, of Orchardview Drive SE in the East Canton area, was arrested

at 12:30 a.m. Monday in connection with the gunfire

He was booked into the jail on a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge and felony charges of improper discharge of a firearm into a home, discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and two counts of felonious assault.

Deputies allege he was driving down the road when he fired four shots into a house. Chief Deputy John Oliver said no one was hit.

Harris remained behind bars later Monday, held in lieu of $50,750 bond pending a Canton Municipal Court hearing.
