The argument, and the shooting were all captured on Instagram Live:
The video was taken outside of a Kroger’s convenience store parking lot, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
In thee video, two men are arguing – and one man tells the other that he is carrying a pistol. Kentucky has one of the most lax gun laws in the United States – it’s a constitutional carry state, meaning anyone 21 years or over can conceal carry gun – without a license/permit.
Unfortunately., the unarmed man refused to heed the armed man’s warnings. Instead, the unarmed man approached his armed rival and says, “You are a b*tch with a gun in your pocket.”
Then, just before the gunshots ring out, the unarmed man says, “I will sleep you [knock you out] and take your gun.”
The unarmed man approached his armed rival, and the rival appears to draw his pistol and fire three shots.
Louisville Metro Police Department told us that the homicide division is investigating the killing. They would not comment on whether the killing was self defense or murder.
