AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating the aftermath of a large gathering of more than 60 people in a parking lot after officers responded to shots fired and found shell casings on the ground Sunday morning, according to a report from the police department.
Officers responded to a parking lot in the 1100 block of Tarson Terrace at around 3:15 a.m. after receiving a shots fired call.
Residents in the area reported seeing a large gathering of more than 60 people in a nearby parking lot.

Officers spoke to a 21-year-old woman who said she heard shots fired outside her apartment and found a bullet pierced a living room wall.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made, according to police.
