A 29-year-old Akron man was robbed at knife point after cashing his stimulus check.

The victim told Akron police officers he had called an acquaintance for a ride on Tuesday afternoon to cash the check.

According to the report, the acquaintance showed up with another man, drove the victim to cash the check and then robbed him of the money and a cell phone in the 1400 block of Triplett Blvd.

Police said no arrests have been made.
