ALLIANCE Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a shooting that left a 17-year-old hospitalized.
Lauzahiphiatha Ford, who court records also identify as Lauzahiphiatha A. Brown-Ford, 26, of E. Cambridge Street, turned himself in to the Alliance Police Department on Monday afternoon.
He is charged with attempt to commit murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence, according to jail documents.
Court records indicate another man, Larry N. Hardy, 18, last month lured a 17-year old to a home on Williams Place under the pretense he would sell the teenager marijuana.
But once the teenager was in the home, police say, Hardy allegedly shot him in the chest and shoulder with a revolver.
The boy was hospitalized.
Ford is accused of allowing Hardy to use the home to commit the crime and then hiding the gun behind a nearby trash can.
Court documents say his footprint was found in a pile of sawdust next to the gun.
