Investigators nab third suspect in Canton burglary, assault

A third suspect accused of taking part in a burglary and pistol-beating assault of a woman in Canton on April 30 has been arrested.

Marc Taylor, 41, was arrested by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force Sunday morning in a motel north of Pittsburgh, in Cranberry.

Taylor and two other suspects allegedly went to a home April 30 on Gilmore Avenue NW in Canton to participate in a drug purchase.

The other two suspects, Brandy Ingram and Bryant Binns, were arrested earlier.

During the incident, a man in the home was shot and a woman was pistol-whipped and raped, according to police.

Drugs and a firearm reportedly were taken from the home.

Taylor is to remain in the Allegheny County Jail in the Pittsburgh area until he can be extradited to Stark
